Our team represented the interests of the Dutch Association of Asian Restaurants with regard to non-EU labor immigration restrictions introduced by the Dutch government. In 2014, we helped to build support in both Houses of Parliament to create an exception to this regulation for specialized Asian chefs in the so-called ‘wok-agreement’. In 2016, the ‘wok-agreement’ was renewed by Minister of Social Affairs and Employment, Lodewijk Asscher, for an additional three years.
